U.P. RERA stands at the Top in Grievance Redressal

In the last five years, more than 48499 complaints have been registered with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and about 42,500 have been disposed of. This figure is more than 50 per cent of the total RERA complaints disposed across the country. After receiving the complaints, RERA heard all the complaints, complied with them as per the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 and performed the responsibility of protecting the interests of the complainants. The following complaints were received and redressed in major districts in U.P. RERA till date.

After the formation of U.P. RERA, the real estate sector in the state has witnessed a significant change. UP RERA made multi-pronged efforts to make the promoters aware of their responsibilities and customers to their rights. Such efforts made the positive result and U.P. RERA has set an example for all other RERAs across the country. For the development of Indian real estate sector problems of both home buyers and promoters have to be resolved at the earliest along with creating a positive environment. U.P. RERA has taken initiative in this field and completed a major innings of strengthening the real estate sector of the state. U.P. RERA will continue to strive to strengthen the real estate sector of the state with its continuous efforts.
