Interactive Session with Mr. Navin Jain on “Role of Risk Management in Banking and Financial Sector”

On 28th March, the Institute of Management Studies, IM BHU, hosted an interactive session with Mr. Navin Jain, Head of ALM & FPA of SocieteGenerale.. The session aimed to provide an opportunity for the students to gather knowledge and ideas on, “Role of Risk Management in Banking and Financial Sector”.

Mr. Jain Being an expert in asset management provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to gain knowledge about the importance of risk management in banking and financial sector which is a brewing topic in today’s market and is evolving continously. Mr. Jain discussed the risk management association with various sectors . He focused on explaining how bank defaults happen in a very lucid manner. He appreciated the developments of India in payments front which ease the monetary transactions.

The session concluded with an interactive question-answer round, where Mr. Jain addressed the audience with their answers and further enlightening about the topic. In all it was a fruitful session.
