GROUP OF IIT-KANPUR ALUMNI CALLS ON BHU VICE-CHANCELLOR PROF. SUDHIR KUMAR JAIN

VARANASI, 20.02.2023: A group of IIT-Kanpur Alumni called on Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain. The 22 member group comprised those who had passed from the institute in the year 1970. The Vice-Chancellor while interacting with the group shared his vision about the university. He said that Banaras Hindu University is a very unique institution in itself which was founded by Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya ji entirely on philanthropy. He said that the university has prioritized making available new opportunities for students and faculty members. Responding to questions, Prof. Jain said for any institution to thrive it is important that those associated with the institution are not only aspirational but also equipped with capabilities to realize those aspirations. BHU is making important progress in this regard, added Prof. Jain. The visiting group sought to know more about the glorious history and journey of BHU and also visited key places situated on the campus including Malaviya Moolya Anusheelan Kendra, Bharat Kala Bhawan, BHU Farm, Broacha hostel among others.
