CORPORATE STALWARTS TO GATHER PRESENT AT BHU’S SWATANTRATA BHAWAN FOR CORPORATE-SHALA

ACADEMIA-INDUSTRY DIALOGUE PROGRAM BEING ORGANISED BY DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS

 

• SESSION AND ACTIVITIES TO PONDER ON VARIOUS ASPECTS OF GREEN ENERGY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Varanasi. The Department of Economics at BHU is organizing a program called “CorporateShala : 2023” on June 2nd and 3rd. Its objective is to provide students with knowledge and skills about the evolving corporate environment. The Academia-Industry dialogue program is aimed at pondering on various aspects of Green Energy and Sustainable Development.
During this two-day event, on June 2nd, there will be competitions in the Department of Economics such as quizzes, Panel discussion, poster-making, article writing, Business ideas, storytelling, and stand-up comedy/poetry. These competitions will not only promote healthy competition among students but also provide them with a platform to showcase their talents, creativity and skils in front of industry professionals. On June 3rd, renowned personalities from the corporate industry, including corporate coach Rahul Malodia, Flipkart’s associate director Sumit Premi, Jindal Steel’s director Vijay Sharma, L&T Finance head Rajan Suri, Sustainometric Rajani Pandey, Bamdeo Tripathi from ONGC and other experts, will interact face-to-face with students and answer their questions. Winners of the competitions will be honoured with medals and certificates.
The aim of the CorporateShala organized by Energy Economics, Department of Economics is to bridge the gap between academic education and professional requirements. It will provide students with an opportunity to connect with current business experts, participate in competitions, and gain inspiration from acclaimed leaders. This event will enhances students’ knowledge, help them establish networks with industry specialists, and provides a unique platform to plan their careers in the future. The organizers of the program have mentioned that the sessions of the second day will start at 10 AM and interested individuals with institutional I-Cards can attend the event at the Swatantrata Bhawan. Entry is completely free of cost.
