*CM Yogi participates in ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh Amrit Kalash Yatra’*

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has become a country that shows the path of peace, friendship, and prosperity to the entire world. The world now sees India as a problem solver, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday.

The Chief Minister made the remark while attending attended the state-level event ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh – Amrit Kalash Yatra’. He said, “ We have entered the first year of the Amrit Kalash (Independence) era. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given us a significant ‘Pranch Pran’ of the next 25 years. If every citizen follows this resolution, India will surely emerge as a major force in the world in the coming years.”

It is worth mentioning here that on October 31, the soil brought from all the states of the country will be put in the huge Amrit Kalash in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be specially present in this program showing the resolve of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. The Chief Minister said that the volunteers who reached Lucknow with the Amrit Kalash from across the state will leave for the country’s capital Delhi with the Kalash on Sunday.

Earlier, the Chief Minister also visited the photo exhibition organized in a program held at Vasudha Vandan Amrit Vatika, Jhulelal Park located on the Gomati riverbank. During the program, a short film based on ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ was screened by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Additionally, the Chief Minister welcomed and congratulated the volunteers who reached Lucknow carrying Amrit Kalash from across the state as a part of the program ‘Honoring the Soil, Saluting the Heroes’.

In his address, the Chief Minister mentioned that for the first time, the entire country is coming together on to mark national events. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, the national flag was hoisted in every household, while the Amrit Mahotsav, which was inaugurated by PM Modi on the bank of Sabarmati riverbank on March 21, 2021, was celebrated on a grand note on August 15, 2023, he asserted.

*Path to peace, harmony and welfare will emerge from India*

The Chief Minister praised all the volunteers who reached here from every village, development block and municipal bodies of the state, paying respect to the motherland and tributes to the heroes through Amrit Kalash. Referring to the various programs organized in the state as part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, he described it as a ‘commendable effort’.

The Chief Minister said, “The message of world welfare and peace will be given through the resolution of ‘Panch Pran’ given by the Prime Minister. India is now being recognised as a trouble-shooter all over the world. In times of crisis, the countries of the world look towards our Prime Minister with hope. They know that the path to peace, harmony and welfare will come from India only.”

*CM honours families of martyrs*

During this event, various cultural programs were organized, including the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by 75 students of the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vishwavidyalay. Additionally, presentations of ‘Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye’ and ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha Hindostan Hamara’ were performed on various musical instruments.

The Chief Minister also paid tributes to the families of heroes, martyrs, and freedom fighters. Volunteers, who had come to Lucknow from various districts of Uttar Pradesh carrying the Amrit Kalash were also honoured on the occasion.

On this occasion, Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh, Minister of State for Sports (Independent Charge) Girish Chandra Yadav, BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, MLCs Mohsin Raza, Ramchandra Pradhan, Bukkal Nawab, Avnish Kumar Singh, Lal Ji Nirmal, MLAs Neeraj Vohra, Jayadevi, Amresh Kumar, Chief Secretary Durgashankar Mishra, Principal Secretary Mukesh Meshram, Divisional Commissioner Roshan Jacob, Advisor to the Chief Minister Avnish Awasthi, District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar, Director of Culture Department Shishir were present along with volunteers from various districts in the state, who participated in the Amrit Kalash Yatra.
